Europe helps open a rehabilitation center in the Ternopil region

Humanitarian structures of the European Union and charitable organizations from Europe have long been interested in the Ternopil region. The Ukrainian region, and individual cities, such as Zbarazh, have long had close relations with Belgian cities and regions, and more than a dozen EU humanitarian programs are operating in the region. So when local philanthropists decided to open a new, high-tech Rehabilitation Center for amputees in the Ternopil region, European partners did not remain aloof.

Currently, the forms and directions of future cooperation are only being agreed upon, but the Ukrainian diaspora in Belgium has already begun sending medical equipment for the future rehabilitation center. The base of the new rehabilitation center will be a hospital in the village of Ozerna, Ternopil district. While repairs are still underway there, some necessary medical equipment from Belgium has already been delivered to the warehouses.

The humanitarian cargo from Belgium was organized by several people who have already helped the Ternopil region on several occasions. First of all, it is a native of Ternopil region, Belgian doctor Ihor Vitenko, and his charity “Mission of Ihor Vitenko”. He has been helping his small homeland for many years.

The Ternopil region is also a small homeland for our leader – Lada Ortynska. So this humanitarian mission was able to take place thanks to her organizational talent. Charity organization “Ruthenia” has been cooperating with “Mission of Ihor Vitenko” for a long time, and we hope to continue doing joint good deeds for the sake of our boys and our victory.

Currently, the humanitarian cargo has already arrived in Ternopil and will be waiting for connection in the newly renovated wards of the rehabilitation center in the village of Ozerna.
