Ukrainian officials attended “NATO courses”

Reliable partners of “Ruthenia” – the Public League Ukraine-NATO – have been popularizing the Western defense Alliance in our country for many years. During this time, a lot of analytical and statistical research has been collected, and many different events have been held, including NATO summer camps for Ukrainian schoolchildren even before the start of the full-scale Russian invasion. Now the Public League Ukraine-NATO has decided to introduce Ukrainian civil servants to our Western allies. Oddly enough, Ukrainian officials turned out to be not very well-informed about the true purpose, scale of values, history and current state of affairs in the North Atlantic Alliance (NATO). And Ukrainian statesmen should not only know everything about NATO that concerns the Alliance’s cooperation with Ukraine, but also be active agitators for joining NATO among the Ukrainian people.

So, a full-fledged course of webinars – informational and educational online trainings “NATO School” was held, which was organized by the Public League Ukraine-NATO with the support of the NATO Representation in Ukraine. Now that the courses are completed, a final meeting was held at the Department for Gender Equality of the Kyiv City State Administration on the results obtained and the planning of new “NATO” educational programs, including for civil servants.

As for statistics, about 400 Ukrainian civil servants and employees, as well as other invited guests, including several representatives of the International Charitable Organization “RUTHENIA”, joined the series of webinars. So, we thank the Public League Ukraine-NATO and the NATO Representation in Ukraine for the opportunity to study, and we wish the organizers of the webinars inspiration for new similar courses!
